Currently we are a small team of 3 permanent staff members. Due to recent growth we are looking for an additional full time staff member who has a graphic design background and is willing to work in a varied role within the Minuteman Design and Print Centre. This role will involve some marketing and sales, interacting with client, some design and print preparation and finishing and delivery.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities are required for this position.
? Assisting with Marketing initiatives and Promotion Designs. This will included Website management, Email marketing and Distribution of Brochures and visiting our clients.
? Assiting with Graphics design using Corel Draw, Adobe Suite & imposition plug-ins and other graphic design packages as may be acquired in the future. The job function will include all workflow aspects from initial client liaison, through the design process, to final proof. A combination of design flair and capability coupled with the ability to work within production timeframes and deadlines are essential.
? Customer services, including general client liaison, telephone and counter service and sales. The projection of a friendly and professional image to customers will be expected at all times.
? Assisting with the printing of jobs on the digital printers. This will include the planning of the digital printing with an understanding of the finishing requirements for those digital jobs and assistance with the running of the job itself.
? To assist with basic bindery, finishing and packaging tasks and arranging for distribution to customers
? Other duties as reasonably requested.
Skills and Competencies:
? Qualification in Graphic Design
? Inherent design flair
? Understanding of workflow and production deadlines
? Strong Communication and presentation ability
? Confident to deal with clients and Client service ethic
Other:
Must have current Drivers License and a car. Will be re-imbursed appropriately for business travel.
